[."Not having a plan is a plan to fail".]

I finally feel like I'm motivated enough to start getting in shape! I don't feel like I'm majorly huge, I just have always felt like I could look and feel better.  I want to be more comfortable with myself and feel healthy!
Working at Pace's has never helped my "diet", and being there once a week still feels like a lot of junk/grease food.  If I by chance don't reach my goal soon, I at least know that I tried my hardest, and will still feel content with the way I look and feel.  So I've decided to write down my plan!  Because I've heard if you write it down it's more likely to happen!  At least I hope!!

Something that did discourage me was hearing this:
YOU MUST BURN {3,500} CALORIES TO LOSE ONE POUND!
[I guess I better get my butt in gear!]

.First Things First.
Starting date: 09.28.09
My goal weight: Lose 15-20 lbs
(not putting actual weight cause people can see this)

.My Daily Plan.
1.  Start by waking up doing "8 Minutes in the Morning".
[Starting our your day by doing these workouts help raise your metabolism so you burn more calories through out the day when doing things such as driving, sitting, sleeping, etc.]
2.  Workout for an hour in the morning before work or for an hour before bed, whichever works best with my schedule that day.
[Workouts consists of combinations of the elliptical, jogging, crunches, Hip Hop Abs, aerobics, etc.]
(I heard that if you wake up 1 hour earlier everyday than you normally do, you can gain 9 weeks in a year!  That means if I were to wake up at 6:30 to workout instead of 7:30 everyday, I'll have had 9 weeks worth of exercise in a year!  .. Man that sounds tempting but I don't know if I can pass up my sleep!!)

3.  Eat/Snack every 3 hours.
4.  Have only 1100 Calories a day.
5.  Burn more calories than I eat.
6.  Drink water and crystal light.

.My Meal Plan.

WWPB = Whole Wheat Peanut Butter

.Sunday's may become my possible "splurge days" depending how I'm feeling that day.  I mean honestly, ya can't be absolutely healthy ALL the time:)

So, there ya have it.   I'm hoping I will be able to stay on top of things and get into the shape the way I've always wanted!
I just can't get disappointed and beat myself up if I don't reach it as soon as I would like!

[.Totally True.]

So I came across this little article today at work.  I found it (1) to be absolutely [true] and (2) absolutely {funny}.

Any guy who doesn't understand their "woman" needs to be informed of this information.  But then again, us woman are so darn ... (I can't come up with a word to describe us) ... emotional, complex, over analytic, critical, pms-it-ive(?) that what simple minded man would ever understand us freakishly complex women?

The part I found funny was that girls actually know exactly what we mean when it's a soft sigh, or a loud sigh, or if our eye brows are raised or  just normal!!!  Yes guys, we expect that you know what every single facial expression means, and if you don't, we might lose it!

.So here it is.

FINE
This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are
right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a
woman looks - this will cause you to have one of those arguments.
FIVE MINUTES
This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your
football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's
an even trade.
NOTHING
This means "something," and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is
usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn
you inside out, upside down, and backwards. "Nothing" usually
signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with
"Fine"
GO AHEAD (With Raised Eyebrows)
This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over
"Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine"
GO AHEAD (Normal Eyebrows)
This means "I give up" or "do what you want because I don't care" You
will get a "Raised Eyebrow Go Ahead" in just a few minutes, followed
by "Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five
Minutes" when she cools off.
LOUD SIGH
This is not actually a word,
but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud
Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot at that moment, and wonders
why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over
"Nothing"
SOFT SIGH
Again, not a word, but a non-verbal statement. "Soft Sighs" mean that
she is content. Your best bet is to not move or breathe, and she will
stay content.
THAT'S OKAY
This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to
a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard
before paying you back for whatever it is that you have done. "That's
Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and in conjunction with a
"Raised Eyebrow."
GO AHEAD
At some point in the near future, you are going to be in some
mighty big trouble.
PLEASE DO
This is not a statement, it is an offer.
A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or
reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have
a fair chance with the truth, so be careful and you shouldn't get a
"That's Okay"
THANKS
A woman is thanking you. Do not faint. Just say you're welcome.
THANKS A LOT
This is much different from "Thanks." A woman will say, "Thanks
A Lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you
have offended her in some callous way, and will be followed by the
"Loud Sigh." Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud
Sigh," as she will only tell you "Nothing"

[.We're in for it.]

I came home from my test yesterday to find the house completely clean!!  It needed it for sure! What a great husband I have that likes to have things nice and tidy!  Dishes done, swept, vacuumed, everything in it's place .. He even had the windows open so there was a nice breeze to have the house smelling clean and fresh.  We sat down to get some homework done.
Lo and behold, I knew there had to have been a reason he had just decided to clean.  I saw people coming down the stairs to our front door.  How ironic that we never have our door blinds up, but the one time that our church leaders come over our blinds are open so they can see us sitting there on the floor with our laptops out and books everywhere.  Luckily it was all our school supplies laying around rather than our dirty camping clothes and dirty dishes!

Besides that fact, the point is that the church leaders came over to give us a calling!
Lance and I were called to serve in the nursery.  Lance was okay with it until he realized that kids starting in the nursery are 18 months old!!

Well we are excited for our first calling [together] and know we'll have many a.d.v.e.n.t.u.r.e.s in our future.

[.Okay so I lied.]

I guess my camping trips weren't over.  I thought they would be, but I guess I was wrong.

Since the months of September and October are hunting months I knew Lance was going to be gone this past weekend.  Well I went to visit my step-mom for her birthday last Sunday and she had informed Lance and I that they'd be going on a camping trip to Strawberry for the weekend.  Well what a coincidence?  That is exactly where Lance goes hunting over the weekends.  I decided that I would go with them since I would have just been home by myself anyways. (Except I did miss a planned massage ... But eh, it'll come around again!)  Lance stayed with my family but went over with his dad and their friends some of the time too.  Jake, Lance and I went over Friday night to say hi to Lance's family, Bill, Russ and Margaret.  We listened to stories about Myrna trying to scare the cows away!  I couldn't stop laughing picturing her in my head yelling "YAH" to the cows!!  Russ made some DELICIOUS cheesecake!! Once it was all gone we headed back over to camp.  Lance woke up at 4:00 am on Saturday morning and 6:00 am on Sunday morning to head out for the hunt!  To his disappointment, he came back elk-less.  Better luck next time love!

For the rest of the weekend we spent time with my Dad's side of the family and Tracy's friends.  We don't get to see them very often so when we get to the chance, we'll take it.  Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of everyone that was there.  I guess we'll just all have to get together again another time.

On Saturday, Lance, Jake and I went to go chop some firewood for a fire later that night!  Lance would use the chainsaw to cut the trees, Jake would throw the pieces down to the road and I would put all of the pieces into one pile to load them in the truck! What team work!  Once we got to Lance's families camp Jake and Lance split the wood.  Oh my!!  Let me tell you what a show that was!!  Lance is used to splitting fire wood cause he has done it all his life, Jake on the other hand, now that's a different story.  I almost peed my pants rolling on the ground watching Jake try to split all of this wood!!  He'd use all of his strength (I'm laughing right now just thinking of it) to slam the maul (which is sorta like an ax) into the wood, and it would just get stuck! Not even go through the wood after about 5 time of slamming it.. just got stuck! He'd get so mad and take the maul with the wood on it slam it down again.  Once again, just got stuck!!  Lance went through about 5 or 6 pieces in the time Jake got one to split!  Oh man, okay I think I'm done laughing now!

.My Grandma and Grandpa Rose and my Uncle Kris.
.Just talking with Lance, Jake, Dad, Tracy, G-ma, G-pa, Kris and Melissa.

.Jake with the CUTEST dog EVER.
I swear I'm going to take him away!  His name is Mr. P, he's a pit bull and the calmest 4 month old pup you'll ever meet!!  No the "P" does not stand for pit bull, it's his nickname standing for exactly what he does (Potties everywhere!!)  The first night I met Mr. P I was standing by the fire and knelt down to pet him.  He crawled up on my legs and sat there for about 5 min with his paws up over my lap!  Oh, I fell in love (Sorry babe:)!

Well I got a little jealous because the next night sitting around the fire Mr. P fell asleep on Jake's lap for aboutg an hour an a half!! I couldn't help myself from going over and just rubbing his fuzzy soft head!  I know I know, I seem a little obsessed .. But he was to die for!  Him and his sister Cleo, who was an older Boxer dog, I tried getting a pic of her but never had my camera at the time.  When we left I went into their trailor to say bye, it took me a good 5 min to actually get up and leave them!
(Scott and Robin, if you're missing a dog I don't know where he went! Sorry Devon, Wyatt and Josie!)

.Joe.Carlee.Lance.Diet.

Lance's dad came to visit my dad's family and Tracy's friends as well.  All standing around the fire having conversations mainly about hunting and cars.  Now doesn't that sound like a bunch of men!?!
At least Angel and her friend were there to give me some good girl talk!

I think I roasted approximately 8 marshmallows, made approximately 6 smores, and burned my face off in approximately 13 minutes!
[At least it made everyone happy!]

.Jake.Me.Lance.Braydon.

(Most the siblings .. Missing Cort)

The best part of all ... It didn't cost money, and we didn't have to pack our TENT GEAR!!!
Whoo Whoo!!

The worst part of all ... I have yet another test right after a camping trip!

I better do good on 2nd test tomorrow!

[.Showers and Flowers.]

One of my good friends Sarah and I threw a bridal shower for our friend Jackie Bytendorp.  She will bet getting married September 26 and we are very excited for her!
Congrats!
I don't think I stopped laughing the whole time.  One of the presents Sarah and I got her was a "new married couple" game.  It was a card game, and basically when someone read one of the cards we'd all make a sarcastic comment or do gestures to go along with what the card said.  It may not make sense to you, but we thought it was hilarious!

.Sarah and I before the party.

. This would be Jackie.
 .Our tables of deliciousness.

So, one of the days last week I got home from work and started cooking some dinner.  Lance suspiciously stopped at the grocery store to get some "supplies for dinner", when he walked in the door these are what he gave me.  How cute is that! I just love him!
9.12.2009

[.Take me out to the ball game.]

.Ogden Raptors.
Since it was Friday, I got to leave work early!  Lance and I went to look at cars, since it seems like that's the only thing we do now-a-days.  Any luck? Nope.
Shortly after, my step-dad Kevin said he had tickets to the Odgen Raptors game and wanted to know if we'd come.  We decided to go to cheer us up from not finding a car.
We grabbed some hamburgers for dinner, then off we went to the game.

.Lance.Jake.Jenna.
Brooklyn was so excited to go to the game.  She couldn't keep her mouth shut about when we'd be there.  Once we got there, she couldn't keep her mouth shut about trying to find the raptor.  When the raptor came near our section she would run down to go give him a hi-five.  Then when he came to our section she had to run down to give him another hi-five and get a picture.  She couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the night!

.My good-looking husband.
:)
.Time to mess around.
.Lance's Halo.
...What a way to end the night...
Churros
Dip-n-Dots
Cold Drinks
Our truck didn't get hit by 4 of the foul balls
and
Fireworks!
Brooklyn was so funny, she was snuggled up with Kevin and told him a secret.  "Best day ever dad!"
On our way back to the truck she kept yelling,
"Best day ever!"

[.Back to Life.]

I've been hit with reality!
..Once again..
Not like I've never experienced it before, just seems it's all happening now!
All our trips for the summer are officially over! At least all of my trips that is!  Hunting season is approaching .. Which means, the Fischer boys put everything else at the bottom of the totem pole!  Widow Month!  So he'll have a couple more trips before the year ends!  But for me, done..  Which is a good thing, so I can focus on everything else going on in life.  And more importantly so I DON'T focus on yummy treats!
I think I've eaten so many "goodies" in the last month that I'm more than ready for fruits and vegetables!
I'm going to get back "on the wagon" as Randy would put it!
Or at least attempt to try!
Speaking of trips, they've all been fun! The after affects of not studying during the trip.. not so fun!!  Life again .. School! Oh how I dread it! At the beginning of the semester I actually get into it and enjoy it.  I like starting to feel smart again.  Yeah, feeling smart only lasts so long! Until I get the reprocussions of procrastinating my first test!  I swear I've learned this lesson before!  Just doesn't seem to click with me!
At least I have my job! Where I can get some studying done (more so blogging, shh!).  Actually though I'm starting to do more at work lately.  I've been transfered for part of the day to our other office in Woods Cross (how convenient, right by our house)!  So now I am there part of the day and do more "insurance" related jobs.  At first I really wasn't looking forward to it.  I felt comfortable with where I was, and to be thrown into something I don't know was hard for me!  After a couple days though, it's really not that bad.  Just hopefully I don't have to be there for much longer.  But I'm getting the feeling I will.  Oh well, such is life.  And there's still Paces, a little extra spending money!
But not so much extra for long!!
Oh yeah, because Lance's car broke down!!  How fun is that!?  We've only had 1 car for about 3 weeks now!!  And haven't had much time to buy one!  You'd think that'd be on the top of our list!!  But we've had trips, and we've had to apply for a loan - which thankfully we finally have been approved, any second we have we're looking in the ad's or on KSL or just ones for sale on the streets!  Hopefully we will find one soon!  Thank goodness Lance's work is generous enough to help us by lending us their work truck!  I'm so greatful that we are able to have that at least!

[.I think that bear is hungry.]

First off .. I LOVED the hoodie weather!!  Don't get me wrong, I loved Lake Powell, but that HOT weather had to go!  So this time I'm sure we were ALL much more comfortable!
And by the way .. There are a ton a pics! Sorry!!!
For Labor Day weekend Lance and I went with his family to their "family reuinion" in Jackson Hole.  Lance and I both had to work, so we weren't able to make it there until Friday night.  Our car ride consisted mainly of treats and singing! As should every car ride!  Did I mention we listed to Danger Zone about 4 times!  Lance couldn't get enough of that song!  Oh and we saw a lot of bikers on our way, so I mentioned to Lance that we should give the bikers the "hog wave" if we saw any.  So Lance waited patiently and anxiously (and VERY excited I must say) to see a "hog".  To our disappointment there were very few after that, and we never got to.  Maybe next time.
The sky was gorgeous as the sun was setting, I had to capture it!  The moon was amazing as well, except the picture didn't do the view one ounce of justice!
The next day we went to Jackson Lake.  The view of the Tetans were stunning!  And the glacier water was SO pure and clear!! I would have loved to go boating there!
We all enjoyed the view while skipping rock through the water.  Lance and Tim did really well.  Brad and Lexi got so excited if they got one to skip twice!  We all had to be very aware if Brad was getting ready to throw;)
[he hit Lance and Lexi twice!]
Other than that they were good shots!
.walking back to camp.
On our way back Jenny helped Brad and Lexi play a trick on the parents back at the camp.  There was fuzzy fur lookin plants on the trees, and the kids tried to convince that parents that it was Bear Fur!!
I have to mention to that on our way down to the Lake Lance tried to play this same trick on Jenny and I.. We were only a little convinced!
.our cute little tent.
.Lance posin for the camera.
.oOoOo.
.Spending the day in Jackson.
After some shopping the boys COULDN'T miss the BYU vs OKLAHOMA game!! That would be devestating!  They all went to the Sports Grill to watch the game!
Incase ya haven't heard .. BYU won!
The girls went back to camp to play games! Fischers are known to not like games, so when us girls get a chance .. We'll take it!
.These are mine and Kamie's [semi] matching hoodies.
The last night we were there the boys went to get wood so we could have a fire!!  Because honestly .. What's camping without a fire and smores!?
Thanks to all our hubbies we were able to enjoy it!!
Thanks boys for your big muscles to cut down all the trees!
.Jenny and Brad.
[and the mallow]
.mm I bet that was delicious.
This was to cute! Claire was trying to roast a marshmellow .. She could barely focus because the fire was
"Too Hot!!"
Her voice was so cute and raspy when saying it!
You can tell just by how far away she is from the fire how hot it was!
During the fire some of us took an ice cream break (except Kamie came along for the ride - no ice cream!!? Who passes up ice cream?  Apparently she wanted more Smores instead! [: )  Here are the four of us on the back of Mike and Tracy's truck heading to the store!
.and here are our feet.
dont ask
This just makes me laugh! The look on Tims face! Take that Randy!
.Samuel.Wendy.Steve.Chandler.
Caden must have already gone to bed.
Sorry bud!

[.Sandy Toes.]

Once upon a time I almost died on a boat!  Luckily, I lived.  Randy hit some big waves and Steven, Tim, Lance and I held on for our dear lives to stay in the boat! And let me tell ya, flyin off the seats and landing back on the boats isn't like a trampoline!  I felt it for days!  Other than that the boat was a nice escape from the heat!
(As long as we weren't stopped!)
Nephew Brad and I! He was so brave! He jumped off the cliff - he was my inspiration!
.Alexa and Claire.
.Surprisingly I got up my first time, and two other times after that.
It only took me SIX minutes to jump!
(If Brad could do it, I surely could!  But he was a lot braver than me!)
But I did it!! And who knows if I'll do it again!!
Most likely not! It's higher once you get up there!

Wish I was more like them!
Totally got thrown off the tube!
Kamie looking as graceful as ever
.Steven and Claire.
She's the dare devil in the family
Besides the 109* weather, Powell was a blast!  I'd definitely go again.
...(just later in the year)...
